Meet the Dentists
Patrick Qatsha, DDS is graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. He is practitioner who prides himself on taking a whole-body approach to dentistry due to the fact that oral health is directly linked to overall health. In addition to the wide range of services offered to improve his patient’s oral health, he also offers FDA approved, non-surgical treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). As someone who has been successfully treated for OSA, he loves being able to improve the quality of sleep and the quality of life for his patients. Dr. Qatsha loves being able to offer high quality, comfortable care for his patients, in a relaxing, stress-free environment. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Michigan Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Oakland County Dental Society, Novi and Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and is an Affiliate Member of the DMC – Detroit Medical Center. He wants you to have a comfortable, relaxing dental experience.
Leyvee Cabanilla-Jacobs DDS, MS is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontology and Hygiene at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of the Phillippines and her D.D.S. from the University of Detroit Mercy. Dr. Cabanilla-Jacobs has a Certificate and Master’s Degree in Dentistry from Indiana University School of Dentistry where she has a major in Periodontics with a minor in Oral Pathology. Dr. Cabanilla-Jacobs currently teaches diagnosis, treatment planning and periodontal surgery to dental and dental hygiene students and is also involved in teaching the Pain and Anxiety course for dental hygiene students. This makes her especially skilled in making sure her patients are pain free. Due to her superb clinical knowledge and pleasant demeanor, Dr. Cabanilla-Jacobs is very popular amongst our patients needing gum surgery and implant placements.
